Soccer

Soccer is a growing sport in the United States. A lot more males and females are starting to play and love the sport

There is a large amount of youth in America that want to play it. There are many different organizations for them to play in. There are school teams, recreational teams, select/club as known as competitive teams. The different organizations come with a different price. Some are more expensive than the others.








The youth will not be able to play organization, because they do not have the funds for it. There are some athletes who are amazing, but will never get recognized, because they do not have the same opportunities as those people who have enough money. 





I want to help those athletes who do not  have the same opportunity. I want to help create opportunities or help the athletes get better so they can get those better opportunities. 

PSA Video for IMED

The video starts off on campus with an establishing shot of the outside of Crockett Hall. As we move further into the story we see a  long shot of the inside of Crockett Hall. Two friends are sitting on couches talking to each other. They are taking notes for their previous class. The first friend has a pencil bag that she loves so much, because it has all these different types of pens that she has gotten from all over the world. She is in love with her pens and would be very upset of someone takes them. Another friend walks up and talks to the first friend. While the first friend is talking to the other friend, the second friends zips up the pencil bag and walks away. The first friend, after talking to her other friend, notices that her pencil bag was taken and she is heart broken. The second friend ends up calling the first friend and telling her that she stole her pencil bag and that she is never getting it back. The End

Different Variations of My WIX homepage

With this WIX website design, I used analogous colors of blue and violet for the the menu tap. For the the background image of my initials I used different tints and shades of purple to get the inside of my initial. like that

With this WIX website design, I left the menu tap the same. With this image, I chose to use a picture that had overall the same color so monochromatic of a purpleish pink color. I kept playing with the opacity of the image so the flames would not clash with my initials. 

With this WIX website design, I left the menu tap the same. I used this picture with the glowing edges and left the background simple so that it would be easy on the eye.

About Me

Heyy!!!! My name is Alysha Dix, a lot of people call me lysha. You know how people say that a person's interest changes over time, that statement does not relate to me. I have a few things that I have always loved and always will love. Lets start with hobbies. One of my hobbies is playing soccer, I have been playing soccer since the second grade. I plan on playing in the FIFA Women's World Cup, hopefully in 2019, but if not then definitely in 2023. I also love cooking and eating. I watch a lot of the shows on the Food Network channel, and if either me or my mom see something we would want to eat we would try to make it. I really love to volunteer at church's nursery. When I volunteer there I usually watch,play,and feed children under 6. Now, on to my favorite things. When I have time to watch shows, my favorite shows to watch are The Real, Criminal Minds, and The Game. My favorite movies are the Fast and Furious series, Lean on me, and Mary Poppins. My favorite type of food is junk food and snacks, but my favorite foods are hot wings, chili dogs and chicken Alfredo. My three favorite songs are Charlie Wilson- You are, Alicia Keys- No One, and The Weeknd- Wicked Games . My all time favorite people is my family. My all time favorite thing to do is hanging out with my family. My family is my rock, they are the reason I am where I am and the reason I am who I am.
